At the beginnings of 2003 it starts to take form
the dream of creating a winery in a different spot
In order to continue the work undertaken by our
professionals in other denominations of origin and
be able to apply and to develop all the experimented
at to now. It is not until 2005 when that desire
comes to be true with the first grape harvest.
Within the Somontano D.O., but in the heart of
the valley of the Isábena, in the municipal
term of Laguarres (in the very region of the
Ribagorza) our work is developed.
Bal d´Isábena account with 800 functional
installations of 800 m2 of surface with a capacity
of elaboration of 100000 liters. Traditional methods
of vinification are used, combined with modern
technologies of elaboration and a constant experimentation.
The importance of the differentiation of the vineyards
does that as much the varieties with which we worked,
as the originating grapes of these are elaborated
separately in deposits of a maxima capacity of
10000 ls. With this we obtained the maxima quality
in all our wines. For the phase of raising we use
barrels of Central European oak varying the times
of stay in raising
according to the criterion of our professionals.
